considering red isnt a super rare color on that car no i prefer some of the factory paint colors blue is my favorite but the two tone black on gray is a close second

but i would defiantly have the gts or whatever yours said on the side painted back on there

but its your car and changing the factory color honestly wouldn't hurt the value at all its not like these are vin matching GTOs or something lol

Depends on how much money you want to spend . If you decide to choose a different colour than what it was originally and want the job done properly then you'll have to get the engine removed so that the engine bay can be painted. If not, it'll look weird if you ever pop your hood - Especially if the engine bay is red and the rest of the car is blue.

I've always liked red Corollas as they really shine after a wash and polish, but the downside is that colours such as red fade and oxidise faster than a lot of other colours. If your car is garaged and parked in the shade often then this won't really be a problem, but it's something to consider if the car is left in the sun a lot of the time.

As for which colour to choose, the choice is yours, just don't forget to paint places such as the engine bay, trunk and inside of the doors

Good thing you said something about red colors, Kiwi. I'm planning on painting my sedan Candy Red and black in some areas. I will be keeping a car cover on it afterwards, unfortunately I don't have a garage.

Angel13, if you take it to the shop to get it painted, make sure you specify to them how and what you want painted. A lot of paint shops would do it for cheap but you would see lines where they mask stuff off. Also, paint drips, unpainted visible areas, etc. Don't paint the car black if you're into a super nice car. Because a gloss, non metallic black will show the smallest spider web scratches that will come from the softest cloth. Get a metallic color, don't have to be heavy metallic.
