Canada Need help badly

I am wondering the price of a 4agze 20 valve
with wiring harness. Want to race so i need a bigger engine that i can do mods on.

Also anyone who can help me out with advice on other parts or mods i would need to do in order to race, Race mainly straights and highways but would like to get into drifting.
I would very much appreciate all advice.

I am wanting to redo whole car interior and exterior as well, already have sound system but need new gauges and pods for windshield post

You have a long way to go, there is no 4agze 20v. Second you have to search around for a good price .

If you want to race, gut the interior (no sound system, etc.).... weight reduction, a key to win race.

Also, the 4AGE 20v or 4AGZE are good choices. Prices are roughly $800 for 20V and up tp $1500 for 4AGZE.

also if you get some fast food trays and put them under the rear wheels you can drift alot easier

This thread smells of failure from a mile away... first of all this car is FWD as in FRONT WHEEL DRIVE! you need a RWD as in REAR WHEEL DRIVE car to drift.

Second, racing on straights and highways is illegal... go to a track, there's like a million tracks in Alberta; find one and race on weekends or risk it on the highway and kill some unfortunate family in a Civic and end up in jail.

well since your car is an 89 sr5 im pretty sure its FWD. if you want to do all those things you say with this one car i'd suggest you get a different car. mk3 supra's are cheap nowadays and can do all those things. anyways aside from that to do these things will take money it can be done.

drag- would be the easyiest to setup. if you want a 20v gze you will have to 1st swap in a 20v then supercharge it with a eaton m45 or a 16v gze setup. even then your hp max will most likly be in the lower 200's. good for prob 14's. price for a 20v front clip is $1800usd+, price for a 16v gze is close to the same thing. but might i suggest a 3sgte if your really looking at dragging. remember to do these swap by yourself takes a good amount of mechanical and electrical know how. - i imagine your planning to race at the strips?

highway- well this one is prob illegal. but the tune for this is prob closer to a road race setup. your turbo engine and a well setup chassis. good suspension and most importantly!!!! good wheel bearings, bushings, ball joints and brakes.

drift- well there are some ff drifters. its logical that in order to make a ff drift you have to have way less grip in the rear wheels, since all they do is drag while the fronts pull. and LSD of some sort will help you with pulling the car out of the rears breaking out. the front suspension would need more grip then the rears, meaning a combonation of better softer comound tires and softer suspension. while the back will need stiffer 12-15kg springs with very stiffffffffff sway bars, very narrow tires and harder compund tires 165 series.

also why i suggest a different car is, after your done with setting it up for this you would of prob have thrown 10k into a 20 year old car that will be very very impractical.
nothing is impossible you just have to understand car dynamics or find someone that does and have deep pockets.
