Whats the difference? Full blown race cars are shit to drive on the road tho, you dont want uniball uppermounts and bronze/bearing bushings, they transfer every bump so well.
Mainly just wondering about suspension upgrades, lightening by removing the creature comforts like carpet/AC/and what not, and how far to take the exaust upgrades. Yes I do have another vehicle to drive (a 1971 Ford F-100) but it's shitty on gas. I really would like to keep up on the track but still be able to drive it to the dock when I have to. Anyone know what kind of gas mileage I'm going to get out of that 4agze with a 3sp auto?

Again a 4A-GZE swap wouldnt constitute a race car either.. What we're talking about here is just souped up street cars. But you can race a street car and theres no shame in that if you can drive
By what I understand, the 3sp auto is the stronger of the 2 available. In '90/'91/'92 the geo prizim was offered with the 4age and both the 3 and 4 speed auto. I am going to do a tranny swap but need to find one before that happens. I figured the a131l would get me by till I locate one. If it does crap out on me then I will just be forced to look a little farther away for a manual tranny. I know a few 400+hp cars with auto trannys that do just fine. Don't count the auto tranny out just because it's an auto.
