No start.. wiring problem maybe?

Hey guys so my car here again is giving me crap.
if I run it cold its fine the moment that sob gets warm and I shut it off it won't start. the starter won't kick over at all. The start and cylanoid have recently been replaced.
the battery is brand new. I think its a short from the ignition to the start...or maybe a sensor.
but where I get lost is that heat is definitely related.

When you turn the key to try to start it, does the dash light dim down until you release the key?

I just installed a "new" starter today. My last starter, for more than a year now, when hot it wouldn't want to do anything. A good tap with a wrench does it everytime. The problem was intermittent. Sometime it'll do it, most times it won't. Problem with reman part is just that; good chance of intermittent failures.
