Talking Assistance with AE98

I have a AE98, Corolla GT-S 4A-GE. Where can I get some aftermarket parts for it, I live in Panama, Panama City (LatinAmerica)? Like for suspension, clutch, flywheel, exhaust, intake, cams, computer or any other ugpgrade rather than the 20V head with VVT. I am new with toyotas and i've been looking for performance parts for it and I can't find any...Also I heard that going SC is the best for this engine...

I think that the APEX springs and a EBAY 4-2-1 OBX header would be a nice start

greetings

Is your engine big port or small port?
The big port shopuld have "TVIS" on the intake.
If yours does, the easiest power upgrade is to increase the compression by getting pistons from a small port engine.
Beyond that, an engine swap will be the easiest way to get more power, wether it be a 20V or a 4A-GZE.

There are several threads on here that document upgrades for brakes and suspension, you will need to do a search from the front page of this forum, there is a search button to the right side of the screen.

sir if corolla parts are hard to find in your place, then the internet market is your best friend

you may just have to pay a bit more for shipping.

better do some research first so that you will have a clear vision of what you want to achieve in modding your car. because with corollas, there are countless options. just choosing the right kind of engine given your personal preference is mind boggling enough, because there are several to choose from.

there's the 4age tvis, 4age HH, 4agze SC, 4age 20v silvertop and 4age 20v blacktop. these engines will bolt right in.

with minor mods to the engine mounts, you can also fit a 1.3L 4efte turbocharged engine that came from the jdm starlet-glanza hatch and a 2L 3sge (BEAMS or 3sgte turbo) from an jdm mr2/celica/carina in to your car

going SC is not for everybody but if want to go that route and if you have an NA engine, then it'll be much cheaper and will be less of a headache to go out and swap it with a 4agze SC

I think the '90 and '91 GT-S had small port engines, I am not sure.
I am sure that the '89 was TVIS (big port)
