clutch issues

alright so im having issues with my clutch in my 90 gts. when driving in first or second gear the car will jerk like im popping the clutch a bunch of times. if i slip the clutch a little it will not do this, and only does it in first or second. its been like this since i got the car in april, but is starting to get annoying and id like to not wear out much clutch prematurely. do you guys have an idea whats going on or have experienced this yourself?

sounds more like it's bogging down rather than a clutch problem.

Gen6 clutch issues

Hello guys. I have the same 90 GTS with the exact same clutch issue for the last 6 or 7 months. It seems to jerk more in the morning (colder) and only 1st and 2rd gear . I was told to examine the flywheel and possibly resurfacing it.

I had a touch of the problem you guys are talking about when my slave cylinder had a leak. More so when it was low on fluid. Check to make sure the master and slave clutch cylinders aren't leaking at all and that the hoses are in good shape, if they get bad enough they will expand rather then send the proper amount of pressure to the slave cylinder and not pushing the clutch enough. Better to check the easier and cheaper thing to fix first
