Gen6 My rpm's need answers

aight whats up ppl i have a couple of questions

1)i have a 91' Toyota Corolla SR5 and i was wondering were my rpm's should be my idle is 500 and from what the sticker says :
800 and its bothering me .! what could be the problem here . ?
and thing i can fix w/ out having to take it apart?

2)Can i adjust thee rpm's by this screw ? :
do i tighten it or loosen the screw to raise rpm's

And last what is this . ?:


any answer is appreciated

I'm not sure as to how the FI works on RPM adjustments. But it says 800RPM with the check terminals short-circuited. which I think is terminals E1 and T1 in the diagnostic connection port under the hood on somewhat the driver side.

As for the last pic, that's your brake booster.

That does look like the idle screw... do trial and error, don't do a bunch of turns at once, do one turn... check rpm, turn back if you went the wrong way then do another turn again.

its not really a car term, more like a life term....

think of a clock
ccw is counterclock wise(left) while cw is clockwise(right)

lefty loosey, righty tighty

unless you have a reverse thread which is lefty tighty righty loosey but we will work on that term a little later lol

lol for some reason it didnt occur that ccw was counter clock wise and cw was clock wise .!! untill just now .!!!! bbut yea heading to try that now .!
