this weekend i..

i changed my passenger cv axle
front brake pads to ceramics
waxed my car

i was wondering how stubborn the fuel filters on the 4age are. I wanted to change it but after spraying wd40 on it, it didnt wanna break loose and i dont want to twist the line trying to loosen it

I think i have finally decide on my rims. im thinking of 16x7's with 195/40r16's or 195/45r16's.
I want to also lower my car, with gr2's and eibach springs. I was thinking that it would be smarter to put my lowering springs on before i decide to get my new rims/tires so when i get them i can make sure they will fit correctly. but at the moment im not sure if the drop springs will work with my current wheels, it is the stock gts 14s with 205/65r14. can anyone verify this?

205/65/14s are way bigger than you should be running. the stock size is 185/60/14...

http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

that site is your best friend.

195/45/16s would be a good size to run.

I'm selling my APEX springs if you're interested.

according to APEX the drop is aorund 30mm or 1.2" but I think it's probably a bit more than that.

yeah, those are 15s with 205/50/15 tires. You might be able to use your 205/60/14s if you roll your fender lips... but 195/45/16s would fit fine.
