in the morning and was wondering if you guys had any opinions/comments. I would also like to know if there is anything special which needs to be done to replace the flex pipe or if it is just a straight forward job like most other cars. this will be my first Toyota. Thanks.

only problem I see is that it's an automatic

flex pipe should be just as easy as any other car.

I just did a flex pipe a few weeks ago.
The muffler shop quoted me $140 to do it. I got a complete "B" pipe (from the manifold to the catalitic converter) from a salvage yard for $20, another $12 for gaskets and all is well.

auto AND Carb'd... stay away, or buy it and swap it.
