here is a little story...!pics inside

well after many of you have asked me when my car was getting lowered..
i finally have completed this task!

time for some pics
it started like this

then came rims and tires

couple of shots moments before lowering it...

now the fun part comes, removal & diassembly of the front struts

compressing the old spring

stock spring vs apex

the new strut getting ready to put in, equipped with a gr2 insert and apex spring. look at that yellow, its blingin

here is after completing the front, rear is stock height

after i got this done i started working on the back ones. im lacking pictures because it got dark pretty quick. for most of you that may or may not know you have to literally take almost the whole back of your car apart to get to these. slightly a pain in the ass lol the pics i have are kinda dark sorry

new kyb strut and old strut

rear strut remounted with my pimp springs

by the time i got done it was late. so this is a pic at work this morning

lookin pretty sexy, its sittin about 1.5 fingers of gap between the fender and tire

few things i noticed some i knew one i didnt know
-car rides only a little rough
-is lower.. lol
-handling is a lot more resonsive

what do you guys think

Looks good.

If you haven't checked, make sure you have enough travel before it hits any bumpstops. I blew out some GR2s riding on the bumpstops for only a few days. Consequently I changed the struts out and cut down the bump stops.

Sick dude! I want to do the exact same thing to mine. How much did it cost you and what all parts did you get to complete this all?

awesome suspension setup, had it on my old 89 GTS... the wheels, meh... pass, that design I see on every car that drives by me, you have a rare car, put rare wheels with less offset on them. Something 15x7, 7.5 or 8" with 15-35mm offset and 195/50-15s on them would work better.
