I was planning to replace both my strut front and back and found a kyb agx adjustable front and gr2 back on tiretrack.com.
i heard someone had this on thier ae92, but does it fit with the oem spring beacause i wasn't trying to chage the spring yet........
short story...
I have a ae92 4af sr5 givin to me by my aunt when it was still 80k and it is now 117k. Recently i have chage the Rotor, pads, tie rod k&n air filter, fuel filter, h4 conversation, foglights, new batt and amp/stereo...
The car have a blown headgasket major oil leak but that was fix, radiator flush and had trans rebuild few years back
and thats all i have done so far.
I was planing to keep the car till 200k then a 4agze swapp.......
They'll fit with stock springs but you'll have to get front strut casings from a corolla gts. You'll put AGX struts from a 91 mr2 in those and you'll be good to go.

both apex and eiabach are great spring but im only looking for a bit drop, im gonna go with 1 inch desision made lol
gr2 with eibach.........................
those will fit right?
I have the Eibach Pro lowering spring kit (1" drop), with AGXs on the front and GR-2s on the back.
I had GR-2s all around and it worked fine, I only went to the AGXs because I run autocross with this car.
You feel the difference with the AGXs over the GR-2s, but if you can't get the front struts, you will still feel quite an improvement with the GR-2s over the stock struts, even if you keep the stock springs.
This is what the 1" drop looks like on my GT-S

As far as I know, SR5's use full strut up front... you need GTS front strut casings in order to use the AGX cartridges.
Yep! You are right, but I think 89 Celica front struts are cartridge type too, and those should fit.
I'm not sure, so don't hold me to it.
