rare 25th anv corolla (pics)

hey guys decided to join the forum. to get more infromation

i recently pick up this rare corolla the other day for 1200 bucks, has 256,000 kms. only a 1000 made in canada, so it is somewhat rare. car is in reasable shape, some dings and dents, has some cancer but nothing i cant handle.

i recently popped some 15" BBS RA's(205/50/15) off an older VW. i was surprised how well they fit on my car. need to be repainted.....

has a reall slow 4AFE in it now, but my future plans are...

4agze
exhaust
5 speed swap
coilovers
and tons of other stuff

couple of questions for you guys , others that are runing 205/50/15 are you getting tire rub? its weird because i get none while turning left. but when i turn right, i get real bad tire rub when turning right, any thoughts?

also i want to go real low with this car, how low can i go till i get into issues, as far as rub and clearance. i was thinking of maybe running some stretched tires dont know yet.

also can i find body parts, and aftermarket items for this car, hard to find

here is some eye candy

when i first bought it

after BBS's/wash, not a very good camera, better shots soon, need to lower it soooo bad its killing me

photoshop lower

I had 205/50/15's on my 89 GTS 2door, and it just BARELY rubbed in the back with a +35 offset. Not enough to hurt the struts at all though, just barely rub paint off. The fronts I probably coulda fit 215's on at least.

Sick Corolla btw, it's like a sedan mixed with GTS hah. Put a manual tranny in that thing! :p

Wow, looks great with those BBS wheels. My friend, she has a Civic she bought and those were on it. I wanted to buy the off from her but...

what's special about the 25th Anniversary besides the badge?

I imagine one of your struts might be blown so it probably rolls more to one side and rubs...

Or.... Rubs on inner guard next to gear box, dunno if it's any different but that's where I get rub on my diesel... In fact hits the gearbox now that it's rubbed though the plastic.

Welcome to TN!

That's a very nice minty Corolla you have. I recall only seeing two of those ever here in Ontario, I would imagine that they are probably rusted out by now.

You might actually have more turn in one direction than the other.
The car could be perfectly aligned but the steering rack might be off to one side, allowing extra travel in the opposite direction.

I have on 205/50/15s and they touch my sway bar at full lock either direction.
