don't get a 4 puck clutch

I have a ACT street disc on my 270whp rx-7 and I've never had it slip.

I would just get a OEM replacement (look on rockauto.com) and no waste your money on something you don't need...

or just get an ACT HD pressure plate and an ACT modified street disc. (part #: TL3-HDMM)

I love the ACT on my rx-7. I have an OEM clutch on my 20V SR5 that I auto-x regularly.

Unless your car is really modified, then you dont need anything else than a stock clutch.

+1 on stock replacement clutch. It wont slip unless the engine is heavy modified like others have stated, and your left leg will thank you when getting stuck in traffic.

I'd use one of the following...

$74.53 - F1 Racing Stage 1 Full Organic Clutch Kit - http://www.ultrarev.com/f1-56005r0.html

$91.64 - Exedy OEM-spec Replacement Clutch Kit - http://www.ultrarev.com/16070.html

There are probably cheaper prices out there. I just used UltraRev because that's where I bought my OEM-spec replacement for my MR2 Turbo. Surprisingly, I've never heard anything bad about F1 clutches despite how cheap they are.

i'm actually using an f1 setup in my corolla. the flywheel has quite a bit of holes drilled, but its made of chromoly and should be even more durable then an aluminum one. it feels like a stock clutch actually. this might be due to their painted pressure plate. which im sure is either stock or a stock aisin plate with uprated springs.

honestly if i could redo it i would use and oem replacement exedy and pair that upwith the f1 10lb flywheel. this should help with making your car accelerate a little better. as far as the f1 clutch it engages at the point where your feet lifts almost all the way off the pedal. it doesnt feel as good as the stock clutch nor the act ones i've had in the past, but it was cheap and i wanted to test it out.
