88 Corolla All-Trac starting issue

I don't know if anyone can give me a hand tracking this down, but my all-trac would not start today. I checked the battery and it was dead, but I was able to jump the car and it runs fine. I just replaced the alternator about 2 months ago so I took the battery up and had it tested got a replacement and installed it.

When I put the key in, everything lights up but the second I turn the ignition over the car dies. I disconnected the negative terminal and reconnected it and all the lights came back on, but the second I tried to turn it over again same thing. After that I was able to get the car to start by jumping it, but after that I had the same problem.

I have absolutely no idea where to go from here so any help would be great.

Try cleaning the terminals on the battery cables, both ground and positive, with a wire brush. Had that problem ways back and that solved it.
