Canada 1991 Corolla and 1991 Prism Gill Interchange ????

So, will the 1991 Prizm grill fit a Corolla? or are the headlights too large or grill too tall or will this swap work. I don't have the Prizm grill, so I don't know its dimensionsto do a face to face comparison. Anyone know? I'd appreciate it and make my Corolla sedan slightly more unusual. Thanks for any input!

Rod

PS I hear the bumpers interchange but I don't wish to do those. Just simple cosmetics.

From all the AE92-chassis Geo Prizm's I've seen, all the headlights are different from AE92-chassis Toyota Corollas. That said, grille cannot fit onto a AE92-chassis corolla.

However, I'm not completely sure, but you can take the front bumper, fenders, whole light and grille assembly and hood from the Prizm to a Corolla as long as it's the same chassis. I think I've seen it done. Prizms have different tail lights that looks similar, but skinnier. I've seen the Corolla taillights on an AE92 with a Prizm's front...

the headlights on a corolla are rectangle while the prizm's have the top inner corner rounded, and the grill is shorter then the corolla's, and since the grill is short the hood is been pulled down to cover the extra space, the only thing that will change right over on the front is the bumber the side markers are even different shapes, but i think if you just changed the hood and headlight bracket you could use the prizm stuff, i have a 90 prizm and was looking for face lift and well there's not alot of options besides the lsi/gsi grill, but from the looks of it you could possibly use the 7th gen corolla lights with the prizm front end, but idk, i haven't found anybody who has done this yet, i've been thinking about doing it with mine if it works

hope this helps
