Interior mods?

So, I've been looking at some options to spruce up the interior of my wagon a bit. For one, the steering wheel has GOT to go. Far too thin, it's a bit uncomfortable on long drives (I fucked up my hand playing sports in high school. I need something beefier. I *could* do some sort of aftermarket solution, but sort of want to avoid the boy racer look. I was wondering if there's any inter-toyota compatibility? For example, MR2 parts. Steering wheel? Seats (front)? Basically, anything that would provide a reasonable upgrade that I could either pull from a yard or get on craigslist on the cheap.

If you are willing to do some work on those parts, a lot is possible.
The seats for instance only need to be attached to a seat rail. With a bit of ingenewity, you can always modify something to make it fit

I do believe a lot of Toyota steering wheels are interchangable.

Can't tell you what exactly. Just go to a yard and if you see something you like, compare it to the parts on your car

ok on the interior id like to add my 2 cents, my 1980 corolla i bought a detachable momo steering wheel with momo hub. i sold it, but kept the setup, i then later installed it into my 85 celica, it broke down so i let my buddy borrow it, and he installed it into his 85 supra. after that i traded my celica + cash for a 87 supra turbo, got it back and installed it on that. sold the supra and got a 91 corolla sedan and had it in that car as well, but in anycase, id like to say from corolla, camry and mr supra etc etc, everyone runs the 8th gen + steering wheel, its nice and sleek, especially from the S or xrS models... so id say they are interchangeable. on another note, depending on the year, the front seats usually interchange too, but IMHO if you really want to make it nice, keep the stock interior just get it reupholstered in what ever color or design you like, but id keep it stock, it gives me a sense of achievement for having a old car with stock interior that doesnt smell like a cat litter box.

oh yeah sorry one more thing, stay away from eBay or UNIVERSAL bucket seats... terrible quality and when you get it installed, it sits way too high... also you dont want to really take anything from a mr2, if i was you, and wanted some nice seats, id take the ones outta the corolla gts and install them, either run covers or upholster them to match. but yeah there are lots of things you can do, all tracks are nice, too bad that its impossible to find parts for it, but id have to say that 4afe with oil cooler is sexy.

Steering wheels interchange with a lot of Toyotas. I had a Yaris T-Sport steering wheel in my ´91 Hilux. That steering wheel also fit my old AE95. Thats a nice small diameter steering wheel thats thick in the palm and good to hold on too.

I personally think that OEM Toyota wheels look much nicer than some track-car or ebay ricer wheels.
