Toyota Pacesetter headers on 92 Geo Prizm

Whats up everyone.

I am interested in installing headers on my 1992 geo prizm. The only type that i believe maybe compatible would be: Pacesetter 86-92 for a 4afe 1.6l / toyota corolla. Now, i believe that it is the same layout as a same gen corolla. I am just not certain on if it is entirely compatible with my prizm.

I've called a few chevy dealers around my area and gotten as much help as talking to a wall.
-----
Much thanks is given in advance to whoever has guidance on my question.

first of all... what motor do you have? lol

Prizm sedans came with both 4AFE and 4AGE motors... Corollas didn't come with 4AGEs unless it was a GTS coupe.

Moved to the 6th Gen Corolla forum. You may have a higher chance of getting the answer you're looking for in there

It's a first gen 4afe as shown here (EFI):

based on the header description it should fit....

though the description is a little sketchy since it claims 1986 and 1987.... which the ae82 had a 4ac... different head, ports, location, etc.... and wouldn't fit those... but that doesn't look like a 4ac header (dunno if photo is of actual header).

you might want to contact them and ask if they've test fitted it on a 1992 model... the 1992 model in the US is a bit of an oddball.... in japan the 1992's were ae101's not ae92's (which is why the GTS in the US ends in 1991... no such thing as a 1992 2 door ae92)... so, the 1992's have been known to be a hybrid between an ae92 and an ae102 with certain aspects...

i once had a pacesetter headers on my first ae92 sedan, it made it sound like a subaru impreza NA... here is the downfall though, after 2 months and 1200 miles on it, the headers broke, like when i say broke i dont mean crack, i mean broke, fell apart and the piping just broke apart from the flange and thats it...

Now. Not concerned about quality at the moment. But, would these fit a 4afe motor by any chance? It's like the only ones i see that are dead set compatible are pace setters. I just cant believe it heh
