Best brakes

Just wondering what kind of brake pads you think work best on AE92 cars.

You'll have to be a bit more specific.

Pads that have better initial bite tend to be louder or squeal a lot when they're cold.

Pads that are quieter have less stopping power.

It's the nature of how brake pads are. How long do you want them to last? How much noise can you tolerate?

For a daily, just get some OEM pads or if you wanna save some dollars for beer, grab the cheaper sets from your local auto parts depot.

The ones I have on now are better than the previous set on car set in terms on noise and stopping. These are bendix. My only complaint about them is durability. They didn’t last as long as the previous pads by a fair margin. Unfortunatly I don’t recall which brand those were.

Ask and you shall receive.

I had OEM Toyota pads first, they were quiet and relatively long lasting.

Then I went through 2 sets of Hawk HPS pads, great pads, great stopping power and bite. Good life as well, not as good as the OEM pads though. Only downside is they squealed like a banshee once the pads were cold.

I got tired of the noise so not I'm running Wagner Themoquiet pads, less stopping power than the Hawks, but by far the most quiet brake pads I've ever had. Been on the car for four months now, we'll see how they hold up.

I'm running Hawk HPSs on all 3 of my cars, and none of them squeal... I like them a lot.

I just installed some wearever golds on my wife's car and they seem to work fine *shrug*

you know id just say run the ceramic pads from autozone, the duralast gold they make them for the fronts but not the rear and its life time warranty so you will never have to buy them again, great for commuting and etc.

I use Bendix pads. They may wear a little faster than other pads, but I love how they don't produce any brake dust (or at least nothing that is noticeable on the wheels). Never heard them make any noise either. I don't race my car around the track, so the stopping power is more than adequate for my needs. Have had the current set on for about a year and a half so far and there's plenty of life left in them.
