hahah So much for universal. Anyway is there a way to upgrade the ignition coil then? or is that just not worth the trouble?

Theres no easy way to upgrade it and theres no use to do it, unless you actually _need_ to do so. Upgrading a coil wont give you any performance boost. For example I'm running a stock coil with a turbocharged car, ok sure I blew two 3 coils, but it was due to other reasons, nothing to do with the coil itself.

Beware of subliminal advertizing. Names like "Accel" and "Blaster" make teens and young men think "acceleration". So they buy Accel and Blaster products and the older men who dreamed up the names laugh all the way to the bank.

The only legitimate reason for replacing a coil is if your engine has an intermittent ignition miss that jolts the whole car while you are driving at a steady speed.
