Inner Tie Rod Help Needed

I just replaced my inner tie rod on my driver side - but re-used the outer tie rod. Any problems with doing this?

+1.

If you have the front wheels off the ground, shake it side to side to check for any play. Better if one person do the shaking while you grasp the tie rod to feel for play.

the weirdest thing about the tie rods...it seems the outer ones are the ones that mostly that need change. The time I changed mine whole front end when it came to this the inner ones were completely in very mint stock condition but changed them anyway nd save the original

I agree with BandoTRD. its always the outer tie rods. The best test is a test drive. if it drives good then your set. after i changed mines out my steering wheel wasn't shaky anymore at highway speeds.
