Here's A Weird Short.

Ok, just discovered this.

When I turn on my hazards, on the dash, both the left and right signal flashes (which is normal) BUT the blue hi-beam indicator flashes along with the turn signals as well.

When I turn my hi-beams on WITH my hazards on, the two turn signals do not flash, the hi-beam AND the window defroster indicators flashes.

When hazards not on, all indicators work fine.

Very odd.

Before my timing belt went recently, I started the car, ran fine. Battery/Brake lights flickered. Turned car off completely. Turn on (not start), turn signal indicators, hi-beam indicator, all indicators came on. Car would not start, no click, no power draw. Turn back off, leave for a few second, tried again, like nothing happend.

Somehow I think it's related.

My 92 wagon has a similar short. If I have either the high beams or the rear defroster on and I use the turn signa/ both arrows blink. The outside lights work and everything else is fine. I think the cluster shorted
