GTS Seat Question

I have a question to all the AE92 GTS owners out there.

What do your seats look like? Do all GTS's have the integrated head rest type?

The reason I ask is because I picked up a set of seats from an 89 GTS in the junkyard, but now looking at them further, they don't appear to be as deep (as bolstered on the sides) as my 90 GTS's seats are. I haven't had a chance to compare them to my DX's seats, but they definitely have more features than the DXs seats like lumbar support, headrest tilt and bottom cushion tilt (for drivers side) So I'm a bit confused and wonder if the seats were swapped at some point. They don't look the same as my 90's seats with the integrated headrest but rather more like the DXs ones with the headrest supported by two metal rods that slide up and down.

Thanks in advance for any help.

well form my understanding is that the corolla sr5(coupe) has the same seats as the corolla 4dr dx etc, unless you got a corolla LE with the full out luzury seating but the GTS that i always seen at the junk yard looks more like a sportier seat... so i am not too sure.

That is exactly what the seats in my '89 look like, even the same colour.

Yea, the seats in my 90 look like this one even with the same pattern. I have one seat that is supposedly from an 89 that has the same shape as this one but a slightly different cloth and pattern. I sat in the DX seats today and they seem even shallower than the ones I picked up, so at least I'm still upgrading.

Those are actually 90-91 seats, that's the one in my old 90 GTS, the 88-89 seats were different fabric.

88-89 had spotted fabric (black spots/gray spots) the 90-91 GTS had the lined fabric as above.

these were the ones in my old 89 GTS

Ok, so my butt doesn't know what it's talking about. I'm guessing I got some seats from an LE or something because it looks to be the same shape as the DX seats only it has features like cushion tilt and headrest tilt. The previous owner of that GTS must have swapped them out.
