Corolla 92 light

Ok guys hello first of all.

I have a corolla 92 and i recently installed a radio on it, but then the lights on where you see the speed you are going if a door is left open (how do you call that part of the car) etc... are not working now what must i connect to the lights work again..

Sorry for the bad english i'm not american

If your problems started after installing radio can only assume it is wired improperly or a fuse blew. Are you talking about the door ajar light or instrument cluster lighting not working? Here is a link on the factory wiring color coding so you can check out your connections.

probably used wrong wire to power radio, I have been their myself if I remember corectly the wire was orange you can check with power meter and find the other hot wire and reconect the wire to dash lights

I just had the same problem. I bought a new head unit and harness from FRYS and connected each wire via colorcoding and the radio works but the dash liights and rear parking lights dont work. Did i wire it wrong? I just assumed all the colors matched up. PLease help!!!!
