the injector holes are in the head of a 16V.... why is this important? the 20V uses side-feed injectors that are 290's. You would be best to find injectors larger than what you have. Bigports are around 220 and smallports are around 250.

One of the major reasons for using the ITB's on a 16V is running them open throttle, which won't work in your scenario (well, most likely. Being that you're in Costa Rica it's possible that you have map based 4age). If your car is AFM based then it won't work as open throttles with the AFM, obviously.

ITB's can be a bit tricky to tune and as such most will go with a decent aftermarket computer.

I was able to run my smallport on 20V ITB's using a T3 adapter (Techno Toy Tuning) which alone cost me around $250 and required quite a bit of modification to both the engine and the adapter to get to work in an ae92 (they're built with the ae86 in mind). I sold it long ago because it really added nothing to power.

I need to add that if you do run it on stock electronics it becomes hard to start. There is no cold start injector on the 20V setup like there is in the 16V.... toyota got smart and just used good tuning for a cold start sequence that wasn't an option in the 16V.

I have no idea what that says.

what I previously said pretty much covers it, though.

Let me translate...

The best thing you can do is swap a 20V motor in your car, it's easier.
