Coolant Sensor

Where can I get an Engine Coolant Temp Sensor. I have gone to just about every parts store in town and the one that they say I need is too small to screw back into the hole. Online places do not offer an adaquate picture of it. It has a connector with two prongs and the metal sensor part seems to be fatter that the ones I've been shown. Many Thanks

It is for a 90 Geo Prizm. I have tried the Toyota dealer, the GM dealer and most of the parts stores to no avail.

Try rockauto.com they have lots of brands, pictures and good prices.

If I remember correctly, there are 2-3 different "coolant temp sensors". One is for the ECU, one is for the cold start injector, and another is for the gauge. There might also be one for the electric fan. The gauge and fan sensor only has one connection while the other two have two pins. You'll have to navigate the different categories to find all the different ones. The only one you may have trouble finding is the cold start one.
