Let's Compare & Contrast

Anyone care to compare and contrast between the two? Besides one is a rich mans Ferrari, the other being a guy who works on Ferraris Ferrari...

i guess it depends, while the ferrari is wayyy faster, i've seen to many high end rich man's car be driven by... well guys who cant drive. other than that there is no comparison. its like comapring the hottest fantasy girl you can think of against your average housewife, not just that but an average 40 yr old wife.

it would prob take a legit time attack build to make the corolla competative against the ferrari.

comparing the two i guess you can say, depending on the driving skills, one car drives you and the other teaches you what understeer means lol.

this sounds a little crazy, but i think i'd pick some sorta underdog car instead of the ferrari. of course it wouldnt be some sorta stock underdog car, but a race prep version of an underdog car.

As a platform, there really is no comparison. you can dish out money as much as you want on a corolla and it would most likely still fall short of the ferrari. Even a shitty driver can drive a ferrari fairly well, because the onboard electronics help out alot. Just select "n00b" on the manettino switch on the steering wheel and you really can just turn the wheel and press the gas or the brake.

Heck an AE92 will fall short of most econo boxes nowadays, the new alfa romeo giulietta has a base model which has a 170hp turbo engine in it, electonics that help out when going fast. I tried that car out and its fast for a 1.4 liter econobox A stock corolla is no match to it

and as an added bonus, you'll get as much pussy as you want with the ferrari...
...but realistically wer're talking about a 100k car vs a 1k car

evo's and sti's are a bit different from a corolla, but its still a production chassis. anyways not that i posses the skills or anything even close to it but i seen some vids where ferraris dont do much better then even evo's or sti's by pro drivers.

call it polishing a turd, but car physics is car physics, even if the ferrari is built differently. i would imagine if you were building a corolla chassis for time attack, you would work out all its short commings. and who said it had to stay FF.... AWD ftw

the sad fact for the average joe like myself is < MONEY wins

But dimensions matter! 1 inch could be worlds of difference.
