Glass Replacement

My 1992 sedan got broken into. Nothing taken fortunately but now I need a new driver's side door window. Went to the junkyard to find a replacement. Closest I found at the junkyard was a geo prizm of the same body style with an intact driver's window. The junkyard guy said the window won't be able to fit on my corolla. The measurements of the window look to be the same as my corolla. Is it true that it won't fit?

it's probably the same.

I would measure it to make sure it's pretty close than give it a try.

they're more or less the same car.

That's a gamble that I'd take. Doubt they'd make a special window for the Prism. Afterall, they were made in the same factory..
