Does Your Car Have a Name?

Why yes! Yes it does!

I was inspired recently by an amazing word in Japanese. You could say my car has a JDM name! Oh, baller! What-what! ... I kid.

But yeah, POST CAR NAMES! WOOT!

This right here is 'Zankuuken' (Rough trans: Sword that slashes the sky)

Also, here's a video I JUST took cuz I was bored and smoking a cig:

I promised myself the only steering wheel I'd put on my car was this:

Tomica's a dirty girl that I'd like to buy a drink at the karaoke bar.

the only car that has a name is the black MR2.... and her name is Christine. she's earned it as she can be creepy as hell. None of this is any kind of joke.

Years ago I drove it to an MR2 "show" thinking I might sell it. 10 miles from the destination, after driving over 100, she stopped running. Limped her there and couldn't find a problem. Everyone knew I had a problem getting there. No problem back.

On my way to work once I went in early on accident. She was fine. Went home, she was fine. On my way back, same day, 2 hours later she died twice on the freeway. That night she got hit in the parking lot pretty hard. She drove home fine.

All the girls that I dated back in the day... would drive fine to their house. They get in the car and she wouldn't start. Literally happened time and again. My (now) wife got in it the first time to drive me home and she drove just fine.

There was an incident with another car and a garage door... so I sold the black car to an airplane mechanic. He was having problems getting it to run so a few months later I bought her back. A stupid simple fix and she was perfectly fine again.

She sat a lot and within a few months only accumulated 50 miles so I traded her for our 20' 90 Bayliner Capri. The car was left at my house and to be picked up a little later. First outing on the boat, no joke, the car was driven past the park where we launched the boat. She died and was parked RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE LAKE where we were. I got in it, after the new owner told me what happened, and I drove her to his house no problem.

I find out the following happened.

Car was sold on ebay to someone in Chicago. Had been having no problems. Was towed down to the car shipping company and she refused to start -- the company refused to take the car. On the way back to town someone at a gas station knew of the car and bought it on the spot (no kidding). A few months later I see the car on CL with a "bad head gasket".

About a year later I see it again on CL, in the exact same shape, with a "bad engine" -- but this time with a different owner.... someone I knew from a few years back. I traded him my ae86 for the car....

she's back in my possession.

her name is Christine for a reason.

my red AE92 SR-5 is Roxanne
my blue TE72 is Azure
my black FC3S is Clarissa.
I've been through a hell of a lot with these ladies in a few short years.
Right now I'm having body work finished on Clarissa because some idiot drove all the way down my passenger side on her From the fender all the way back to the quarterpanel was all messed up. Painting should start this week though.

Seems a lot of people pass through here, I see a lot of good people and nice tuners pass through town. Saw a gray/black AE92 GT-S the other day I never saw before. Had Alaska tags.
And the person who hit my car actually had to stop and take responsibility. Happened in front of my own home and my neighbor saw everything. Got 3200 from insurance to fix/paint my car. Unfortunately, I'm having it repainted without any side skirts, as I don't have the money to get nice OEM replacements for my TurboII right now. I love the OEM side skirts but really not wanting to just buy some used cracked/mishandled ones. Once I land a better job, i'll finish the job.
I don't quite follow that Nickelodeon reference lol. Never watched that channel too much growing up, probably why.

My ladies:
Azure

Roxanne (Everything that's gray is going to be painted Black)

Clarissa

damage

I had just bought new 17" rims for her but thankfully didn't put them out before the accident

thank you
when I was looking for a new daily driver, I was looking for a GTS like yours but I got my hands on Roxanne instead. I have since found a GTS with a blown engine that i've been stripping for parts.
