4A-F equipped AE92 Catalyst question

Ok I'm re-doing my exhaust on my SR-5 coupe with carb'ed 4A-F.
When I looked at my cat, I saw this pipe coming out the side and coming up into the engine bay, and I can't even tell where it leads, i've been trying to trace it lol. My back hurts now so I'm just gonna ask you all. I tried searching forums but maybe I wasn't typing the right thing. Picture below

I'm eliminating my original cat/resonator and doing custom exhaust. And don't judge me, Oklahoma doesn't require yearly emissions test, and as long as your exhaust note isn't ridiculously loud, cops won't pull you for it. So what can I do about this pipe? What is it? can I eliminate it? Where does it go ?! lol

That hose goes to the airfilter housing and gives fresh air to the cat, i took my stock intake off and just plugged that hose and have had no issues.

oh ok cool. the air assembly connected to my carb was all torn up around where the belts are so I had already removed part of it. (it looks like a short ram intake now)

So I'll just cap it off somewhere
