!989 TVIS; Help more information on this engine ??

I have more information on a possible motor for my 1986 DX;

It is a TVIS motor, previous replies mentioned a Big Port engine, on a small block GM I know what this means, on this motor I am unclear as to what the gain might be ?

The pic’s of this motor shows it has silver cam covers (2), & appears to has a dark stripe down the center. The distributor is mounted on the left front bank.
