Manual 90 geo prizm

do these have, just wondering, by stock, a radiator fan? no the cooling fan, but the radiator fan. i was just wondering, i can get one, but wanted to knjow if it was stock. it doesn't overheat, but it runs the cooling fan a bunch.
it by stock, doesn't have an air conditioner. which im not going to bother with.

does a manual 5-speed geo prizm 90, have a radiator fan. it has a cooling fan, the one on the right. also, under teh fuses box under the hood, there is one fuse out. i think it says rtr. would have to go check. but it's not not running anything. heh.

no one on the left, before the radiator, looking under the hood, and one on the right, after the radiator, on the other side. when i looked at a 96 prizm, it had both. one ran when the car started, the other was tore up. later i looked at one, and the other turns on whjen the car gets hot, sitting idle, air condioter running or something. the one fan, i have only runs when the car gets too hot.

better maybe, that the prizm im gettign parts off of has 2. 2 radiator fans. they blow at the radiator. ones'a aradiator fan, the other a cooling fan. one keeps the radiator cool, the other when the car gets too hot kicks on for extra cooling. cooling fan. the left one before the radiator, runs when the cars started. runs with th ecar. the right one, after the radiator, going from the grill, back, turns on when the car gets too hot. i have the right one. no left one. it is stock, i dont know. asking.

reason i ask, manuals also don't have air conditioning stock. so makes me think the cooling fan was took off, too to save for weight. thats the reason for the air conditioning gone. which i dont care about. i got windows.

ok so let me clear this up, your saying you don't have a fan behind the radiator? cuz you should, mine may be auto but its the base model and it has a fan before on the left and after on the right

i just heard the manual didn't have it and htought maybe the fan wasn't included. thts waht im saying. i guess ill have to go digging around. but i dont want to add weight thats not needed, but it shouldn't matter much. i suppose its probably a good idea for 2 fans anyway incase one craps out. ill have to see how it hooks up. but ive seen some hookups that say a/c or something on it, look like it's plugged to it. ill have to check.

just thought it might have not been included too.

even without a/c you should still get the fan behind the radiator for extra cooling and its not alot of weight so don't worry about making it heavy cuz just as long as you don't add like a big sub box you really not adding weight thats noticeable

if your looking for interior parts you can look on any 88-92 corolla except gts, not just geo prizm parts seeing as the prizm and corolla are twins and share alot of the same parts, and are you saying yours is the hatch back model?

yea, it's a hatchback. one thing i found out though, at a junkyard, is that a prizm lsi models front interior is the only thing tht won't fit. i have a prizm and there was a prizm lsi hatchback at a junkyard, hard to find, and i got the glovebox and stuff, extra, kind of, at the last minute. just kind of threw it in, wasn'tmuch more. the glove box goes all the way over to the left, and it gets in the way of my heater cord and stuff, wont fit in there, and theres a whole bunch of different bars and everything else. everything else i think pretty much fits. it has a bigger glovebox and stuff, just th ewhole front interior, under the steering wheel, and around the steering wheel. the trim fits, though i think. including the whole radiothing. different bolts and everything. could maybe trim it, have less screws holding it on. i think the steering wheel has tilt. different front interior, though. i still need to find a backseat, and some hatchtrim, and a few other pieces. stuff to go around the stick shifter. if anybody wanted to trade, i got a blue automatic shifter interior pieces. pretty much from under the radio back, i think is all you need for the stick shift.

ah that makes sense the lsi would have some extra things since it is mid model for the prizm, but also look at a corolla, unless your needing parts with badges i wouldn't just look at prizms
