Yeah, I have MT-90 in my car too. Other option is MTL, which is close to the stock transmission oil in visocity.

Stalube GL-4 gear lubricant 85W-90. All Napa stores carry it. Only $4 a quart compared to $12 for Redline MT-90.

Well, I didn't choose the redline because it was the economical choice. I've actually wasted money on the regular stuff only to drain it after it didn't fix my problem.

That's just my experience with it... It's up to you do decide.

That's the problem that I had. Although I'd consider it a band-aid fix, it's a band-aid that's been working for over 3 years now... I'm so impressed with it that even when I fix the syncros for real, I'm putting Redline back in.

i havent tried gm syncromesh, but i have tried amsoil syncromesh. its very thin almost like 5w30, i would use redline mt-90 if i where you, since it helps with making shifting better and is the right weight / 75w90.

the amsoil seemed to help when the car was cool, but when it got warm from autocrosses, it gets notchy again. however this might be due to the crappy ebay f1 clutch i was trying out. just tonight i installed an oem clutch and the gears seemed to engage alot better.

75W90 is roughly 10W40. The numbers are changed so that people dont confuse transmission oils with engine oils.
