Transmission removal

I am going to remove the transaxle/transmission on my 88 Corolla
(Transaxle is the A131L)
To fix the differential..(bearing are bad)

Do I need to remove the "Lower Arm with Crossmember?
Or just the center member?

I could be wrong, but I believe it will be easier to remove the arm with the crossmemeber rather than leaving it in place.

All you need to remove is the center member.

Good, I dont want to remove the lower control arms with crossember..
That is where I put the jack stands.... as the pinch weld are rusty...
I dont trust them on this car, on my brothers 96 Camry I trust since his not rust buck like mine....(just allittle rust.....

Oh, my mistake, I mis-read the diagram. Yea I don't think you need to remove the arms.

I removed it, not bad.....
You dont need to remove the crossember..
I think 6 bolts for the converter is overkill..
Only 4 bolts to engine....
