RED AE92 4A-F engine

Hi guys I'm new to the toyota nation forum and happy to be here.
I recently got this car and it is a 1600 16v dohc bubble shape sedan.the pully on the engine is wobbling and other stuff too.before me the guy who had it abused it haha and its abit tired now.I got a quote of R10000 to rebuild the engine and I was thinking should I drop a new engine or what should I do.haha I'm lost.so ya plz help me out to what I should or can do.

That depends on the engine. R10000 seems like a reasonalble price. However, a used engine is probalby cheaper. Try to register on twincamclub.co.za as there are many people who have parts or even complete engines available for you. Might be a bit cheaper to get one from someone in the same country ;-)

engine

Hi there again I spoke to the mechanics today and what they are going to do for me is bore it and put oversize pistons in there and a branch and valves and replace all parts.then I'm going to get a weber carb and pipe.what you think?
