AE92 Deal with a/c heater coolant hoses

Allright having some questions bout my new lil case of problems. There is a line that comes out on the water inlet pipe where the thermostat housing is and connects to a hose that goes to the firewall. Then there is another hose comes from the firewall under the other hose..connects to like a bypass that is connected to the a/c climate control if im not mistaken inside the car...well first hose well kinda broke and leaked coolant so I just took it out cut it a lil bit since it was long and put it in and now it seems that its not workin so good anyways plus looks like the other one its gonna go out soon too. Question is if those two hoses can be eliminated by puttin in hose plugs or are both are needed and be should rather put in replacement hoses? Dont mind bout the a/c since mine's not working but these both hoses are beggining to be a problem for me.

you should be able to repalce them pretty easily...

they don't have anything to do with the AC, they give you heat. if you don't want heat, you can just cap off both lines.

ok cool need to know wat they did but yea replacement could be best but aftermarket parts are begginin to be a problem around here too...had to run around 6 or 7 autoparts just tryin to find the upper radiator hose since its such a rare find but managed to find a replacement at least. Still Im gonna look if i can find both replacements hoses if not ill just cap them and get over it
