No Spark, Need Assistance, Soonish

Well again my car has died. I was driving down the road listening to some tunes when i noticed all of a sudden i had no throttle responce and when i turned down the music my engine had cut out. Well i tried to start it back up and it was a no go. I tested for spark and im gettting nothing, I replaced the main relay and the distributor. I have new plug wires and NGK spark plugs in and i have no idea what the problem could be. This is my main source of transportation so any leads would be amazing. I have a 1.6 4AFE.

Just a shot in the dark,

Take the oil fill cap off then turn the motor over and get someone to see if the cam gears spin while the motor is turning.
If they don't then you have a snapped timing belt causing the dist not to function.

No it's not the timing belt, I removed the plastic cam get cover and cranked it over and the belt is still good. I also removed the dizzy cap to see the position put it back together cranked it over rechecked it and the rotor is spinning but still, it won't turn over. Thank you tho but any other thoughts?

Distributor cap, rotor and/ or your replacement distributor is a dud. Also there is also a fuse for the ignition in black fuse box under the hood. Check your battery cables for corrosion free and tight connections at battery and from battery to body ground. Check distributor harness connectors for a tight fit.

I'd say clean up the battery terminals and try again, you could have a bad ground somewhere.

alright well, turns out it is the IGN fuse. it just keeps blowing everytime i try and turn the car over. I guess there is a short or bad ground? I replaced the alternator and it was running then i parked turned it off got a soda and went to turn it back on and now every fuse i put in it just pops. Any thoughts?

Could be a faulty alternator. My current one does but rarely gives me issues.

I accidently bump the wires on it when I changed out my exhaust maifold. It started up fine. Turned it off. Then it acted up, wouldn't start, wouldn't even click. So I just looked around, jiggled the wire connector, and problem solved. And there's a ticking likely from it when I first start the car from ambient temp.

Here's a wiring diagram link if you want to trace it. Check figure 2 (distributor 4afe) and figure 5 which shows fuse block. I looked at ignition fuse (Ign) on diagram 5 and it shows the fuse in the middle of circuit with one wire going to ignition switch and the other going to charge(battery) light bulb in dash. Does the light work when you turn ignition to ON (not start) position? IF not might want to change out bulb. Has anyone messed with your ignition wires under the dash ( add on security system or an attempted theft by cutting and splicing)? If so check for cut wires in that region.

well now that you speak of it when i bouth the car there was a wire under the fuse(which made the fuse crooked and this wire ran up under the dash (looks like into or around the gage cluster) there is no alarm but i just unhooked the wire long ago and it ran fine but now im wondering if i messed something up

Maybe previous owner had it wired with a hidden kill switch to disable ignition to prevent theft. Or someone had used that extra wire as a tap for a power supply at that fuse location. You need to trace that added wire to see were it terminates and make sure the terminals in the fuse block aren't somehow shorting due to being bent .
