so, i dont like the way my 4afe head only has 3 bolts to for the value cover. is there a different 4afe head i can throw on there? and what mods, if any, will have to be done?
thanks

Speaking of 4AFE heads, I've been wondering lately if it would be worthwhile to port & polish the head, maybe do some other stuff with it (coupled with new 2.5" exhaust, including a custom made exhaust manifold)...

What's the point? All they are holding down is the valve cover (which has a gasket sealing it anyway so oil can't get out), they aren't the actual bolts which bolt the head to the block (which are underneath the valve cover, and I believe there are 10 of those)...

i know they arent the bolts holding the head on, hence, i said "valve cover" not head bolts.
let me rephrase, i dont like how its 3 bolts in a row.
i mainly just wanted to know mainly if i can put a newer generation head and intake on my 4afe block.
