Hi guys so long story short my bigport tvis 4age has quite a knock to it...... (cries) so i decided to do a cheapy rebuild sorta. I kinda have a question i'm planning to raise the compression on it but still run brand new stock internals with ARP bolts. I haven't decided what i aim for in compression yet. Which brings me to the next question. Is there a equation that is out there to figure out compression by gasket size? i'm looking to run a thin one about .70 mm what kinda compression am i looking at? Will i run into complications?

It depends on multiple things. Are you going to run oversized pistons?
(because of wear and out of spec cylinders and pistons).
Are the cylinderblock and the cylinderhead going to be milled down? (To get them nice and flat again) If so, how much is going to be shaved off?

no sadly i don't think i will able to machine the bottom end but the head important using looks rather clean and i believe the previous owner had it worked on
