Unhappy goodbye geo

So a few weeks back my mom were driving the prizm after i told them not to until its registered and got some insurance but they didn't listin. They were taking my sister to her friends house and right on my moms way home she got pulled over with no insurance, past due registration, and expired license, a triple threat that got my baby in the impound oh joy well earlier this week i was talking to them and my dad told me he can not afford to get my pride and joy out, i'm jobless or i would get it out myself. So i'm saying goodbye to my first car and project and also saying goodbye to the forums for a while. i'll post the only pic i have of me and her when i find it

Man. That does suck. Too bad they didn't listen... that's just stupid.

Good luck to you.

Sad to have to let it go. Especially under the circumstances. The odds are pretty good the same scenario could have happened to you at some point in time however. Every time you took it out for a spin you would be playing the odds. Sorry about the job situation too. Been there done that. Not fun.

yea would have happened eventually but it could have been stopped if my mom actually listened and actually got the papers to get it registered, but she didn't so its her own fault not mine i had it all ready for inspection but she didn't take it in and she kept using the excuse of oh your dad doesn't sound like he wants to get it done, yet everytime i would ask my dad he was saying that he wanted to get it done so my mom is just lazy.

I wish i could get it that way but right now i don't think i can since we are basically broke, I'm moving on hard as that is seeing as it was like my first car, but when i get a job and save up some money i'll just get me another toyota but i might get a 4runner or something instead of a corolla or prizm for now, nothin can replace that little car and trying to find one from the original owner again is gonna be impossible
