Temp gauge hits half immediately after starting
Swapped a GTS cluster into my 4a-fe sr5 and the gauge no longer seems to show the car "warming up", it just jumps right to halfway. What could be the problem? The GTS speedo was also innacurate, I had to use the lower top-speed "plate" from my old cluster.
I am swapping in a Blacktop this week , will the reading of my 4a-fe "plate" still be accurate? (The plastic thing with speeds on it) Should I replace the original cluster? (since I know the temp gauge works fine on it)
I would prefer to keep the GTS cluster since the red needles stand out much better during night driving, unless someone knows of a way to swap the red needles from the fuel and temp gauges without breaking them.
