can you turbo a 4af 2bbl? if yall have can you guys show me some examples i dont know much about turbos but im tryin to build a ricer out of my 88 sr5

there are ways to tune a carb into turbo, but i think your going to need a custom intake manifold to take in the boost correct? im guessing your best bet is to get a efi swap or go with the 4agze which it the super charge DOHC for corollas, and go that route with a turbo... but then again its always going to be money, so it all depends...

it'll be a lot easier just to swap a 4age into it, but you can turbo a 4af.

I recommend getting some books on turbocharging and reading up.

You can certainly turbo your 4AF. There have been several 4A-C turbo build on the internet, and the 4AF is superior to that engine. Here is an engine running a suck-thru carb setup on a 4A-C. The block is stock, but the head has been reworked a lot, I think it has a new cam too? Anyway, for insipration:
