lack of power when shifting from 1st to 2nd

Hello guys i'm new to this forum

recently bought a cheap AE92 to use it as my daily driver ,well the problems is car seems to lack power specially when shifting from 1st to 2nd it just drops rpms and start accelerating real slow

Previous owner told me he never ever did a tune ,could all that be related to the need of a tune up?

also is hard to start when cold or rested for more than 1 hour

that is probably your problem. the ECU and the gauge cluster of different temperature sensors. if the ECU doesn't know what the engine temp is it'll inject the wrong amount of fuel and run poorly especially when it's cold.

I would just take the sensor into advance auto parts and ask them for one that looks like it for you car, all those temperature sensors have very similar names and it's hard to find the right one.

or you can go rockauto.com and order one.
is it this one?
