A useful modification for the 4AFE would be to equip it with a generic or at least more common and inexpensive vapor canister ( AKA charcoal canister). Any ideas about how to do this?

I still haven't gotten around to trying this, but I'm hoping the canister can be opened and resealed.

Did you replace it with something else? I thought I read somewhere about installing a check valve in the line and doing away with the canister.

So you just ran the hose directly back to the fuel tank? Or just let it vent to the atmosphere? I guess I don't fully understand the point of those canisters.
