Idler Pulley for Serpentine Belt ??

What is the proper name for that thing so I can order one on NAPA ?

My Corolla when it's cold has been starting and some belt would screetch for about 10 to 30 seconds, then once whatever wasn't turning would start turning the screetch would quit and it still didn't sound good. I took a look finally and that idler pulley that's near the alternator doesn't turn right away...

Thanks !

Certain places call it by either name. I think the pulley you are referring to is for the A/C belt. Just ask for the idler pulley that is for tensioning the A/C belt. They'll know, I'm sure.

it's on my alternator belt but I'm not sure if that's the same one that goes to the A/C or not. It seems to be the DRIVE BELT IDLER PULLEY at least that's what I ordered. Looks easy to change...

Okay I bought my idler pulley and went and re-checked what's seized on the motor. Has anyone ever seen a water-pump that won't turn until the belt has screeched for 15-seconds then starts and has a 'whiney' sound when it starts ?? It's cold here in South Dakota so it varies by how cold it is on how long the screeching lasts but It sounds like the water-pump area. No it's not leaking or anything...
