91 corolla starting problems

I have been having this issue with my corolla where when you would turn the key to start it it would do nothing and not start. At first it would only hesitate for a good 20 secs then start up. Then after a few months it wouldn't at all and all I would do is wait 10 mins and try it again and it fires right up. It then got real bad and I put a new starter in. Problem solved it seemed as it would start immediately up. But about a month since I put the new starter in and it is doing the same thing. It mostly happens after I have been driving it and then stop somewhere like a store and it won't start up again and I have to wait. Nothing else I do makes it start, it's not the battery or anything it's just when I let it sit it fires right up. Could it be that the starter is bad or something else? Any help would be appreciated

Start by making sure the battery terminals and cables are clean and there is a good connection. If that's not it, change the two copper contacts in the starter solenoid because your rebuilt starter is junk.

I agree with blb about the possibility that a rebuilt starter can fail after a few months. If you take the starter off to have it tested, look inside and inspect the condition of the magnetic switch. You might find something like this:
