Automatic LSD?

Hi all. Is anyone familiar with the availability of a limited slip for an a240 (automatic trans that came in ae92's) or the a245(stock automatic in 7th gen's)? Did any ever come in stock cars? I looked around online and haven't really turned up anything positive, one way or the other. I think I'm just going to have to make some phone calls to find out anything for sure about who makes one aftermarket, if anyone. I'm having thoughts about rebuilding an A245 with a shift kit for my 92, but its not much good to me without at least a viscous. Thanks for reading, and for any advice.

not trying to shut you down, but excuse my ignorance. what is the point of a LSD in an auto? i just cant see how you can take full advantage of it is all.

also just from what i've seen around toyota, especially toyota USA, its probabally due to cost reasons, but i've NEVER seen a LSD US model corolla. the only ones that are maybe the new matrix and that has some weird AUTO LSD, which turns on and off with the traction control, or was that the rav4.... lol i forget.

theres helical LSD and clutch type LSD for the c52, but i dont really know if the auto and manual trannys use the same diff. sorry the BGB doesnt confirm this either it doesnt seem to have alot about rebuilding the auto gearwise. its mostly about the hydrulic system and how it works, maybe the internals are the same, but if they are different it doesnt help you any.

Rdyzz, I want to use the automatic with a turbo motor. A good shifting automatic can actually be fun to drive. I drove a Ranger with a 302 V8 and a C4 3 speed auto with full manual valve body, have been a fan of automatics ever since. I know there is a variety of options with the c52, but I don't know if the manual and auto use the same diff. As a matter of fact, the possibility never crossed my mind. I still doubt it though. I'll make some phone calls next week and see what I can find out. Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to get both in my hands and look at them. I have no problem going manual if I need to. I guess I just like to be different.
