Advancing the timing?

I've been running premium in the Corolla for quite some time, and I wonder if there is any beneficial gain in gas mileage by advancing the timing a little bit?

Its at 10 degrees BTDC, which is high to begin with, maybe it doesn't need tinkering with? Whats the max without causing problems? maybe 12?

For the years you have it is supposed to be between 9 and 19 degrees while running. I like to have my 92' at 12 degrees just because its in the middle of the spec so if something small goes wrong it'll still be okay.
