I asked a simple question. There was no need to for all that drama. I dont need to know why you did it that way and I really and truly dont care how you did it. Sounds to me like you are jealous of Tweak. Dont get mad because some ppl respect the work he has done. BTW, I'm glad you found a way to make it work for you, but honestly now that you've finished... do you feel better. I hope so.
All that was written in August, and you are just now responding to it. Hmmmm

well, apparently you *did* care enough how i did it in the essence that you said something....
why would i be jealous of dr. tweak? he does work on people's cars to make money... he had a "shop" but moved and now works for someone else at a different shop..... i help people learn their cars in person (ie, show them how to do things... don't charge them... much).... we do things differently.... i respect what dr. tweak has done.... and i never said i don't.....
now that i'm finished, yes i do feel better.... because when ignorant posts go up with "well you can't modify a toyota ecu".... then someone whom knows better can chime in..... because i was able to (again, this was done over 4 years ago) do the work the way i was i have a better understanding of it works.... rather than just "well, this wire goes to that pin, and that wires goes to this pin..... and now it's 'stock' and works"

Actually, I didnt say something to start with. I asked a question. I wasnt looking for an argument, when I wrote my questions and my comments. Your the one that said you had poor engine performance with only had 109 hp not me. I asked you, based on what you wrote, then you got all stupid and mad. At what, just a simple question? Then I responded, but only after that, not before. Just so we are clear about that and there is no confusion. If your way works for you.... again great, but my response was to what YOU put out in the forum about your engine. I see there are others that may be skeptical as well.

109whp out of a stock 100K+ mileage longblock is good..... most are LUCKY to reach 100whp..... so, again... your lack of knowledge is helping you a lot here....

very respectable numbers indeed.

yeah, most 4ages now a days make between 85-110 whp, stock, considering all the 20 year wear and tear, even rebuilt ones tend to make similar numbers, now if we are talking 20v 4ages, maybe closer to 140whp?
besides, manufacturers tend to measure hp from the flywheel

Lack of knowledge? Helping with what? All I did was ask some questions about a what you wrote. You are the one that wants everyone to know how smart and how special you are. BTW the reason for a question is generally because they dont know or they would like a more specific answer. But for someone such as yourself that wants to boast then by all means you go for it and revel in your virtual glory all you like.
Just so I understand this: You want someone else to do it your way and ultimately get the same results that you did? Why if I might ask would you want anyone to do that when they could have a pro help them out and make everything work the way it should?
this doesn't sound like a simple "wanting more knowledge" question..... it seems more like "well you did it wrong, and why would anyone else want to do it that way"... and that's how it came off.....
bask in my virtual glory? wow.... i generally go onto sites to help others with their questions, and to give them good knowledge from both reading AND personal experience..... i don't take kindly to people whom apparently aren't 100% on their game to question the things i do and why unless there is a benefitial outcome.....
and yes, i will admit that i come off as a dick in some posts.... but that's mainly because people who have just read information or "had the pros" do the work for them (and for that they think they are all-knowing) and then argue a misleading or inaccurate point......
it's ironic that i have NO respect for people who don't work on their own cars, and then try to prove how 'badass' their car and/or they are... and yet i plan to own my own shop.....

First, all that shit you just said is great and commendable. The part about helping folks, yeah thats even better. We all try to help when we can and when we dont know, we ask. When I asked you my questions, I was asking; nothing more, nothing less. It may not have been worded perfectly, but I was just asking cause I'd never seen or heard it done that way.
[having just dropped a 20v motor into a corolla with a 7afe in it i have spliced both looms and drawn all pinouts and connector terminations and have a full list on required wiring for both the car and motor,
started sat am finished monday am and boy those motors sing in the top.
snakoil, i am also swapping the s/t into my sr5, im completely lost with the wiring of everything, soo if i you dont mind, might you be able to send me a copy of the wiring diagrams also?
-thankyou, devon
