Where does my AE112R belong ?

Hi all,

The forum sections are titled "Gen 7 1993-1997 AE101/102" and "Gen 8 1998-2002 ZZE110" but my AE112R was built in 2001 so is it a Gen 7 (as I expect) ?

Actually, it's a gen 8.

Toyota did a lot of overlapping on some Corollas, I remember reading that TE Corollas were built up to the late 80s for some Countries, when in North America they stopped in 83.

Your car is actually a gen 8 as PhatRoyale stated, except that its powered by an A series motor instead of a ZZ series motor like the North American models.
