Corolla variants query- Trueno, Levin, Sprinter

i'm not sure if i have ever found an answer to this question in my mind so i'll ask again...

the corolla model since i can remember has always has several variants aside from the standard corolla for every generation. i'm curious as to what target market each variant is aimed at or what's with all the variants to begin with.

Not sure about the markets but I think they were names for their coupes, sedans and hatchback models

Like the Corolla Levin/Sprinter Trueno coupes, Also for the Sedans Corolla and Sprinter were model names based on the same car but with different visual cues and body parts.

There's also the Sprinter Marino in some countries which was basically a 4dr hatchback. Also the Corolla FX was the hatchback, etc..
